Described in his Carnegie Hall Zankel Hall debut as “an artist who limned the various colors between soulful and spirited…displaying techniques we had never before witnessed…the sound came across as some kind of wizardry.” Carlen Gong is a Classical Guitarist From Melbourne, Australia. He has given multiple recitals and masterclasses in Melbourne, and is the youngest artist faculty at the Bronx Conservatory of Music. Carlen is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with full scholarship at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music, under the guidance of Mark Delpriora and David Leisner. He also studied at the Aspen Music Festival and School with Sharon Isbin.
