The Bronx Conservatory of Music offers private and group music instruction for all children regardless of previous experience or skill. Adults are welcome to enroll if studio lesson time is available.
Since preference is given to returning students, lesson times for new students at Bronx Conservatory are very limited. Enrollment operates on a rolling basis and registrations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The minimum age to begin instrument lessons is five years old. For voice, the minimum age for private instruction is 6 years old and is subject to the approval of the vocal instructor, since children’s voices mature at varying rates.
