
Annelyse Combitsis is a 21-year-old pianist from Livermore, California, and is currently based in New York City. Annelyse was a top finalist in the 2024 Philadelphia International Piano Competition, and has been awarded top prizes in national and international competitions throughout the years. She has performed in venues throughout the United States, including Merkin Hall in New York City, Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, PA, and Steinway Piano Gallery in Walnut Creek, CA. In 2024, Annelyse participated in the Philadelphia Young Pianists’ Academy. In addition to her performing career on stages, Annelyse enjoys volunteering and sharing her music with her community; she frequently performs at memory care centers and hospitals.
Annelyse has been teaching piano since 2020. She has worked with a wide range of students of all ages and levels, and has prepared students for auditions at the Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard precollege.
Annelyse is pursuing her bachelor’s degree at the Manhattan School of Music under Dr. Inesa Sinkevych. Her notable masterclasses include Jonathan Biss, Mikhail Voskresensky, Jerome Lowenthal (Juilliard), and Alexander Korsantia (New England Conservatory).
