Art Williams is a pianist, teacher, vocal artist, and actor. He recently moved to New York City from Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley where he was engaged in teaching artistry and performing for almost three years. He served in the Glenwood Springs public schools through the Artist Year AmeriCorps program and filled his time accompanying for the school choirs, teaching after school with the Aspen Music Festival’s After Works programs, and vocal coaching/accompanying for the spring musicals and in his spare time, performing in local venues as a vocalist/actor. He is passionate about using art for engaging in community and using voice to speak out on contemporary issues, and working with young artists developing their artistic identities. He is excited to continue the work that Bronx Conservatory is fulfilling in providing affordable music education and looks forward to helping to expand their endeavors.
